Kairi sat upon the paopu tree beside the boy and stared off into the sunset. I know right? One of the very few things I love doing is watching this sunset. It’s so beautiful~ A feeling of serenity fell upon the girl as she was mesmerized by the landscape. She turned to see Wisdom spazzing out. Wisdom, why are you so jumpy? Are you feeling alright? Concerned for her friend, she got closer and reached over and placed her hand upon his forehead, making sure he wasn’t coming down with anything.

When she touched his forehead his face got as red as a tomato. he hid his face behind the paopu.

Kairi blinked in confusion. Why was this guy acting so strange? Sor- uh I mean… Wisdom, hehe… what’s wrong? Why are you hiding? She asked, concerned for her friend. She moved her hand lower onto the paopu fruit and gently pushed aside said fruit from the boy’s face.

Hey Roxas, it’s been a while~ Whatcha been up to?

It…has? Never noticed. I’ve been hanging out with Axel recently and living off sea-salt ice cream. And yourself? How are you doing?

Oh i’ve been fine. Hanging out on the island with Sora and Riku before they go off for their training by master Yen Sid. Um… what exactly is sea-salt ice cream? How’s it taste?

Kairi accepted a refreshment from the boy and looked up at him. Well i’m glad you got some time to yourself. You really deserve it after all the hard work you’ve been doing. I don’t know how you manage, Riku. You guys are pretty amazing. She complimented him and grinned. The girl walked over to where her friend was and sat beside him. Enjoying her refreshment.

Me and Sora? Well, we’ve been hanging out a lot and catching up. She looked down at her hands placed upon her lap. I missed you guys so much. I’m so glad you’re back. She said softly. After constantly waiting on the island for her two dear best friends to return, searching for them, and being kidnapped… they were finally reunited. She looked up into the boy’s aqua-colored eyes and smiled.

The silveret watched her carefully as she seemed to look distant - they have all gone through so much; he understood that being left alone to wait was the most difficult position the three of them have all undergone. “It’s alright now, though,” Riku insisted, trying to reassure her that they would always be together - and that soon, all of this mess would be brought to an end. It would take a long time, but as long as they persevered they’d be back together - like now. “We have all the time in the world to catch up on.” He was never the one to be so optimistic, but for her sake - he always thought it would be alright to appease her unrest.

“And, Sora and I do have a break right now. I think we can use this time wisely to do whatever you’d like.” He smiled gently back at her.

Hearing Riku say that him and Sora have time to hang out made the girl’s expression lit up. Really, Riku? Oh that’s wonderful! I sure missed our old bonding times. She expressed enthusiastically as she stared at the boy with her glistening hues of blue. She had been wanting to hang out with her two dear best friends for quite a long time now.

What should we do then? She asked.
